Loneliness and Isolation conference.

Report and plan – stage 1
We hosted an event on 18th May 2017 funded by Catalyst Grants for Social Movements, to explore the issues related to Mental Health, loneliness and isolation and created a plan to begin to combat this in Tameside. 136 Individuals and professionals and local organisations came together to discuss through workshops, talks and presentations how and why loneliness occurs and how, as a community this could be tackled.

Outcomes of this event are that:
Tameside Arts ltd (in conjunction with partner organisations) will launch the next stage of this project.
